Group therapy sessions provide children with opportunities to develop communication, social, and learning skills in a supportive, interactive environment. Groups are designed for children with similar goals and abilities, allowing them to practise new skills alongside peers while receiving guidance from our experienced clinicians.
Group therapy is particularly beneficial for building social communication, turn-taking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Activities are structured to be fun and engaging, encouraging children to interact, share ideas, and apply strategies in real-life situations.
Families are involved throughout, with guidance and strategies provided to reinforce learning at home and school. By combining targeted skill development with peer interaction, group therapy helps children build confidence, independence, and social competence.
Please note that we may not always have groups running, as we carefully match children based on their goals and abilities to ensure the best fit. If you’re interested in group sessions, please complete our online enquiry form, and a member of our team will get back to you with more information.
